DESCRIPTION:
EC 10 is a liquid, alkaline universal cleaning concentrate for thorough ultrasonic and immersion cleaning of alkali-resistant parts and medical devices such as medical and dental instruments, crowns, impression trays, laboratory equipment etc. made of stainless steel, steel, ceramic, glass, plastic and rubber.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
EC 10 is a liquid, alkaline universal cleaning concentrate for thorough ultrasonic and immersion cleaning of alkali-resistant parts and medical devices such as medical and dental instruments, crowns, impression trays, laboratory equipment etc. made of stainless steel, steel, ceramic, glass, plastic and rubber.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
- Dosage for ultrasonic and immersion bath: 5 % by volume in water, i.e. for 1 liter of 5 vol.-% solution mix 50 ml EC 10 with 950 ml water. Increase the dosage for stronger contaminations up to 10 vol.-%.
- Ideal temperature range: 50-80 °C. Remove fresh blood and proteins in cold cleaning solution, otherwise coagulation makes cleaning more difficult.
- Cleaning time: in ultrasonic bath: 4-10, immersion bath without ultrasound: 15-30 min. In immersion bath, support by light brushing may be required for heavily soiled areas that are difficult to access.
- After cleaning, rinse parts under running water.
